Working and Education Experiences

Mrs. Chen majored in chemistry in Shantou University, and received a master degree of science in 2015. Mrs. Chen obtained the qualification of practicing law in China in 2013, and then the qualification of patent attorney/agent in 2014.  

 

Mrs. Chen joined Junlong Law Firm in 2015 after graduating from the university, and has been working there ever since, and became a partner at Junlong in 2021 after gaining tremendous experiences in intellectual property practice, especially in the patent practice related to chemistry.

 

Practice Experiences

  • Chen has handled more than 100 litigation cases, involving patent, computer software copyrights, unfair competition, and trademark infringement conflicts. Mrs. Chen also provided legal counseling to the clients in complicated contract matters related to technical transfer, technical licensing, and also commercial contract. After practicing intellectual property law for nearly ten years, Mrs. Chen became very experienced in addressing patent related conflicts via litigation, arbitration, or other alternative ways.

 

  • Chen was also engaged to lead a team dealing with comprehensive and complicated intellectual property due diligence projects for companies going public, and involved in complicated FTO projects for a number of tech companies.

 

  • Chen used to work as an in-house counsellor for a start-up company, providing legal advice on employment rules and contracts, contract drafting and review, patent drafting and pre-suit investigation, etc., and so became versatile in legal service.
