Work Experiences

Mrs. Tang received a bachelor degree in English major from Chongqing Jiaotong University in 2001, and a bachelor degree in intellectual property law from Southwest University of Political Science & Law in the same year. In 2014 Mrs. Tang received a bachelor degree in computer technology and science from Southwest Jiaotong University.

 

Mrs. Tang joined China Patent Agent (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd in 2007, and started to practice patent law there. Mrs. Tang gained intensified experiences related to patent application drafting, patent review and patent invalidation proceeding.

 

Mrs. Tang joined Junlong in 2014, and earned the qualification to practice law in China there. Mrs. Tang’s expertise particularly lies in patent due diligence, post-grant patentability challenges. She is good in English, and has gained lots of experiences in representing foreign clients to address patent disputes in China, and can offer legal counseling to foreign clients.

 

Practice Experiences

  • Tang’s expertise lies in English patent application drafting and translation, patent prosecution. While working as a patent engineer in CPA, Mrs. Tang represented Intel, GE, Ericsson and SEIKO.

 

  • Tang was involved in the following patent invalidation proceeding, patent infringement litigations, and due diligence opinions:
  • represent Chic, the patentee, to defend the patent invalidity challenge;
  • challenge the patentability of 30+ patents held by the client’s competitor, a public listed company located in Shanghai
  • represent a Shenzhen defendant to challenge the patentability of two patents related to stripping devices held by a Dongguan defendant, a leading company of the field

 

  • represent the plaintiff, SHOKZ, to institute 500+ patent infringement litigations across China;
  • offer legal counseling, and trademark prosecution service to ONEAL, a known Germany company, and trademark infringement litigations across China.
  • represent Moving Magnet, a French company, to institute patent litigations against Chang’an vehicle, and defend the client against patentability challenges

 

  • Tang is also skillful in drafting all sorts of due diligence opinions, including:
  • Patent Infringement Opinions for Moving Magnet,
  • Patentability Opinion for Intellectual Discovery (Korea),
  • Patent Non-infringement Opinions for the client involved in a patent infringement case in the US (Leading Edge Vs. Radio Shack).
  • FTO for an electronic company located in Hunan province.
  • A patent non-infringement opinion in response to patent infringement allegation which the client, Ido, received from an NPE in the US.
